“The Mystery of Edwin Drood” at the RDC Arts Centre

Make your way to the RDC Arts Centre on November 20th-29th to enjoy the performance of “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.” It’s an event for the whole family to enjoy. The story is based on an unfinished novel by Charles Dickens in which this musical will ask “whatever happened to Edwin Drood after his mysterious disappearance?” enjoy

According to the municipal services of Red Deer, residents are happy with the quality of life. A 2014 Ipsos Reid Citizen Satisfaction Survey was done which showed great results. This survey was conducted to find out what the community’s level of satisfaction is and if the needs of the residents are being met. Here is a look at what the survey results showed.

The survey was done back in August in which 302 residents were randomly chosen to participate. They only did it by telephone randomly for residents 18 and older. This is the eighth year of the survey.

98% of Red Deerians said that their quality of life is good to very good. Citizens feel their quality of life has improved more than ever before. As in the past, residents claim to be happy

Hockey fans are gearing up for this action-packed event on the 1st and 2nd of the month. Not only will they have a live broadcast hosted by Ron MacLean, there will be live entertainment and a meet and greet with NHL alumni. Here is what hockey fans can look forward to with the upcoming Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour.

Where is the Event?

The event will take place in Red Deer at the Red Deer Arena. It’s located at 4725 43rd Street. This is the same arena that sees the country’s grandest Midget AAA hockey dynasty, the Junior A and the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs.

Trees FestivalRed Deer is proud to announce the annual Festival of Trees returning to the area this November. For the 21st year, you can enjoy family-fun events at this popular Christmas community event. Funds raised for the event will go to a great cause and it will get the holiday season started off right. Here’s what you can expect at this year’s Festival of Trees.

What to Expect

On November 22nd, 26th-30th, you can bring your family or special someone to the Festival of Trees in Red Deer. It’s the annual Christmas fundraiser event to help the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. The event will take place at the Westerner and become a winter wonderland for the event.
